EDM Machinist (Spark Erosion)

For one of our clients in Bedfordshire, we are looking for skilled EDM Spark Erosion Machinist

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience as EDM Machinist (Spark Erosion)
• Experience of working on high value components and down to tolerances of +0.005mm when required
• Experience of Agie and Sodick spark erosion machinery
• Knowledge of wire erosion would be useful
• Knowledge in designing of electrodes and fixtures
• Milling experience for the production of tooling and electrodes
• The ability to use their own initiative, good problem solving skills, enthusiasm, be a team player

 

Tasks and duties:

• operation and programming of an EDM spark eroding machinery
• Ensuring the correctness of the technological process developed
• Controlling of quality
